Conquering the world, half an ounce at a time

After being out of the house for about an hour and a half Thursday evening, I came home to a quiet house. Music to my ears! I tentatively crept downstairs and poked my head around the corner...and saw...(drumroll please)...Sofia quietly in her father's arms with the BOTTLE IN HER MOUTH.

Let me be clear. She wasn't necessarily drinking, but the bottle was in her mouth and she wasn't screaming. Anyway, she ended up drinking about half an ounce from the bottle, which was thrilling. My, how the thrills of life have changed with parenthood.

I don't know if it's visible in the pictures, but you might notice a bump on the bridge of Sofia's nose. That? Is her first mosquitoe bite. Bastard. I will hunt it down and kill it. And its family, too...

One final note -- my computer is behaving suspiciously again. Cross your fingers for me that it doesn't crash on me again!
